Karen Zolik is a PMP-certified project and program delivery leader with 16 years of project management experience and more than a decade in HR. She simplifies the hiring, compliance, and connectivity required for successful global workforce integration, enabling companies to access exceptional talent, wherever it resides, at up to 70% lower cost than domestic hiring.
Karen’s career spans start-ups, nonprofits, social services, education, executive education, manufacturing, and technology. At The Management Association, she built custom technology solutions, led DEI initiatives, prepared organizations for HR compliance audits, researched business intelligence trends, and facilitated HR roundtables, the same breadth of hiring, compliance, and workforce expertise she now brings to Satellite Teams. She stabilized a $3.2M strategic portfolio for the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation and led global leadership program delivery across distributed stakeholders, vendors, and budgets at Cargill. Earlier in her career, she built the foundational operational structure for a fast-growing startup school as Director of Administrative Services at Lionsgate Academy.
She holds an MBA from Bethel University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, along with three professional certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional, Project Management Institute), BRMP (Business Relationship Management Professional, BRM Institute), and CPPM (Certified Professional Project Manager, University of St. Thomas). She has been an active member of the PMI Minnesota Chapter for over 10 years, where she currently serves as the Finance Committee Chair, and is also a member of the Wayzata/Twin West Chamber of Commerce.
